Beans
We're very particular about the beans we buy.
Premium, high grown, washed Arabican beans are literally hand
selected by our Master Roaster. We know there's a huge difference in
beans, and knowing which beans to buy is paramount in producing a
coffee that has earned us the reputation of
"The Best Coffee In Town"® .
Traveling to growing regions of the world, is part of what we do to
find the best coffees and bring them home. Seems like a lot of
trouble, we know...but we think it's worth it.

today. We roast in small batches which enables us to guarantee
freshness. |
The Roast
Our Master Roaster meticulously roasts our
beans in small batches to insure the peak flavor level for each
particular variety of coffee. Roasting is a critical step in the
quality control process because under-roasting produces a coffee
whose flavor is weak and under developed, whereas over-roasting
produces a coffee with a burnt flavor. Great skill is required to
achieve the perfect balance since the difference of just a few
seconds in the roasting process can be critical.
The Freshness
We go to extremes to make sure that our coffees
reach you "Roaster Fresh". Immediately after roasting,
our coffees are placed in special packages which seal out air that
can quickly make coffee stale, while trapping inside, the intoxicating
flavor and aroma. For maximum aroma and flavor, we recommend that
you grind your coffee just before brewing. When you taste the smooth,
